Leadership

I grew up in Wyoming and, after a few years away in Minneapolis and St. Johns, MI, my family and I moved back in 2018. My wife, Katie, is a tremendous gift and our three kids, Owen, Elliot, and Ila, are a bundle of blessed energy. I was saved at an early age and have served in churches doing everything from set up/tear down to music and teaching. I currently lead our music team at WPBF.

I graduated from Calvin College and the University of Minnesota with a civil engineering degree. My day job is to protect our water resources, so if it floods, I fix it. Musically, I enjoy classic rock, blues, and Americana folk/singer-songwriter music. I love the work of Corner Room Music, Indelible Grace Music, and Sovereign Grace Music. I especially appreciate an old hymn revisited and refreshed. When not working, parenting, or playing music, I love to read and make furniture out of wood.

One of my favorite passages in the Bible is from Psalm 25.

“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.”

Becki and her husband, Eric, and live in Kentwood with their two little girls, Adelaide and Lucy. Becki graduated from GVSU with a degree in writing, and in addition to working with the children at WPBF, she also works as a web interface designer, podcast host, and preschool teacher. Becki is passionate about Children’s Ministry, and loves serving with and learning from these unique members of our church body.

Tim organizes and facilitates global and local outreach activities for WPBF. Prior to coming to WPBF, Tim and his wife, Donna, served 12 years as missionaries in Romania. Donna served two years as single in South America and four more in Honduras. Tim served for over a year in Liberia and three in the USA.

Tim values striking a balance between local and global outreach efforts, and is excited to reach into the changing neighborhoods of Wyoming Park for Jesus. Tim once served as an executive board member of the Wyoming Community Youth Coalition and the governing committee for Kids Games. Those two avenues into the community are closed.

Now he is free to engage other local pastors & churches. It is wonderful seeing our congregation interact with other believers, whether here in Wyoming or across the ocean! God continues to provide new challenges & opportunities.

Tim is thankful to work on expanding spiritual ministries in Wyoming and helping our own church reach out to our neighborhood. Donna is a court translator for Spanish and Romanian speakers. Tim and Donna have a college aged son named Thomas.
